That's not a physics issue, it's likely colission detection related or along those lines. Which are issues in pretty much every released game.

I think the trains are good in Japan, if you’re in Tokyo at least. And then Shinkansen is great, too. But taxi’s are incredibly expensive. Not sure about buses though. I haven’t been for 8 years or so.
