It’s not? Do you know the prize pools of golf and tennis tournaments?
How does that even make sense: “doesn’t matter what you say you’re wrong”?
Read stuff, champ. Because that’s not what I said.
No, it didn’t.
Nothing you said contradicts anything I said.
Damn, eSports is where the money is.
I’d call this pop-culture, which is about in line with what the site does.
Sounds rough... and so familiar... creative industries are often like that. Very few are where ideas are welcome and shared, most are focused on product, and driven by those who want that product out.
Whoever came into Games Workshop to manage their digital IP and licensing, has gone wild. GW games seem to be coming out and announced by the boat load.
Just poorly worded, the hate for the *movie* was already present before the trailer.
The hate from the trailer was already present before the trailer. And yeah, I am defending the movie, because I watched it and found it to be pretty good.
The movie hasn’t failed for starters. Critically, it’s doing okay to good, and earnings are so far about par for the course. Mechanise sales are likely to be very strong, too.
It wasn’t a great trailer, I think a lot of people would admit that. But to get the hate that it did?
What goal posts are being moved? Same thing, dude. It’s not rational.
You’re kidding yourself.
Seriously, you think all of those down votes were due to a quality assessment of the trailer...?
Everyone in the original was a complete dumbass besides the four guys and Sigourney Weaver. What you’ve just levelled at the new movie is equally valid critic of the old movie, too.
I wouldn’t call it a “lazy attempt”, I’d call it a good movie. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
I’m a fan of Ghostbusters, wasn’t offended, and enjoyed the movie.
“soul less cash grab” isn’t much of a critique...
