I feel a greater amount of freedom having purchased my N1 off contract with T-Mobile.

@swizzle23: That's why it's sometimes a good idea to wait a few weeks, perhaps even a few months, before purchasing a product so you can evaluate your purchase and even allow early issues to be ironed out (screen issues, reception issues, no quality accessories, item stock, etc.)

Nothing worse than a blemish on your shiny new toy. You know you'll get it fixed eventually, but it always sucks knowing you'll have to either take it in or send it back for replacement.
