From your comments, I’d wager you don’t watch anime. (Am I correct in this assessment?) Everything you described could be said about anime in general: that character design, over-affected speech, constantly pontificating about philosophical matters, melodrama, taking itself too seriously, etc. All of that taken

Give us Burnout 3! IMHO Burnout Paradise ruined the franchise.

Trailers do nothing for VR games. Demo is the best way to understand just how immersive a game can be.

I totally agree. I don’t wanna read reviews in which two paragraphs are spent on how the reviewer was fighting the instinct to puke. I can play Starblood Arena and Resident Evil 7 (with all the anti-nausea options off) no problem, so I don’t need to hear that: it goes without saying that VR is not suited for all kinds

So excited for this game. Kotaku, please have an editor who enjoys the medium of VR review this one. A lot of your VR reviews in the past seemed to be by people who don’t in general enjoy VR, and those kinds of write-ups are not so useful to those of us who actually love our headsets.

All those fanboys who said this game was gonna bomb becuse it wasn’t in a Nintendo portable LOL

Sorry dude, am not from the USA, am trilingual-so is difficult for an XBOX owner to understand me jeje.

Xbox owners shoot their leg, when they became Xbox owners.

How so? GOW Ascension is the only one entry in the series that got mixed reception, it’s the only one that has a Metascore below 85. All other games aside from Ghost of Sparta (86 metascore), are critically acclaimed and metascored above 90 (94, 93, 91 and 92).

One of my favourite dumb things to do in this game was to hold onto the colossus through the cutscene of it dying and let go at a dramatic action moment so that the still-active physics engine would send you sailing far far away from it. Then try to outrun the black goo.

Your are describing the central theme of the game.

Only part Nintendo did was hide the fact that they were selling LootBoxes and DLC by putting them in toys. This crap been around for ages.

I knew Nintendo was a master at selling old tech to people for a high price. But selling cardboard for $80. God damn.

I’m going to be frank. Despite a small (vocal) minoirty, most people people don’t give a damn about backwards compatibility. Sure it’s a nice feature to have, but it’s not exactly a money maker for the manf. Most people just want to play the new stuff anyway. (not that there’s anything wrong with old games)

I sure do wish Nintendo and Sony could get on MS’ level when it comes to backwards compatibility. In that same token I almost feel as though MS is only focusing on this because they need SOMETHING to set them apart and one-up the competition in.

Is this where we talk about Obama’s 57 states?

i just started gaming yesterday as well

Don’t forget rushing the Switch hardware to boost fiscal sales rather than have a finished product.

shit posting is fun and all, but suing over what seems to be a virtual joystick in a mobile game seems incredibly ridiculous.

There is a lot of reasons to be pissed at Nintendo. Everybody has their own. Me it’s :
