How is yellow worse than saying white? Humans are all shades of orange, caucasians are not white, snow is white, we are a bit pale pink/orange-ish maybe?
Why is ‘racism’ allowed when it comes to caucasians? we are a global minority, we should be protected against this kind of stuff, right?

I agree, but they’d have got major stick for it as always ^^

It wouldn’t be whitewashing, since manga makes it pretty obvious it takes place in fantasy Europe, with white people, blue eyes and blond hair. So that’s yellowashing, what’s happening here.

That’s the whole point. Did you miss the part where the game takes place in a high school edgelord’s notebook?

Yet the Pewdiepie article is still a thing...

To be fair. The WSJ has been stepped in it a couple of times lately. There is a legitimate argument to be made that traditional news media has an interest in seeing Youtube and the like fail to defend their own butts. (Nice name by the way. It made me chuckle.)

Haven’t seen anyone here making the point you’re arguing against. Is a good comic though. I just hate to see it used for no reason.

Are we talking about the same Wall Street Journal that sold the Iraq war?

Turning the power of free speech over to corporations isn’t exactly wise and the tools of access are more important than a governing body. That’s why the most important invention in history was the printing press. Literacy freed man more than any government could, but only so long as we protected the ability to get

And still a better build quality than the actual product.

Remind him to turn off the Wi-Fi so he gets good frame rates.

Because that is your interpretation of the events, not mine. And intent is important when it comes to the kind of support you are referring to. I don’t care about his views, so the rant is completely irrelevant to me. I haven’t even watched it. For me this “controversy” starts at the removal of work and does not even

“I don’t understand why everyone is up in arms over it.”

On today’s episode of “Look what I found on Reddit”......

Real shame you guys don’t cover this game much, but then we get an article for a glitch. Stephen has mentioned in the past the reason, which is a good one, that since Owen left, no one on staff really plays it. So that makes total sense but I’d still like to see it covered. It’s consistently a really amazing game and

I was shocked and terrified when I faced off agaonst a Thunderjaw and tried hiding behind a massive boulder, only to have him smash it to pieces with his tail.

Ah yes, the “You thought something was cool? Well let me tell you why it isn’t,” comment.

I’m pretty sure that’s right. They seem to be on par with corrupted machines (which makes sense) rather than vanilla enemies. An overridden robot will usually take out two or even three of the same type in a standup fight.

Well in all fairness, there are very few games at all that reach the visual level of Horizon Zero Dawn.

It’s a great example of the kinds of details that exemplify the amount of extra effort that went into this game. They could have skipped the destructible stuff and it would have still been a good game.
