It seems to me that if most of the indie titles you’ve tried are roguelikes - that is because you’ve only been trying roguelike indies.

I give you props for mad discussion trail-blazing skills.
I find Borderlands curiously out of place on that list because I couldn’t imagine it being anything other than first person, however the rest really fortify the point you’re making in my opinion.
Yeah... but how do you explain the fact that all 1st person shooters would be better in 3rd person?
Ain’t nothin’ wrong with porn, champ.
I kind of prefer it symmetrical, but I did grow up with Playstations.
Eh, I disagree. I dislike the position of the Xbox left thumb stick.
What I like about the DS4 is the weightiness of it. The analogue sticks give just the right amount of resistance, the material feels sturdy, and it has just a little bit of heft that makes it sit comfortably in the hand. More than any other controller available right now it just feels good to hold.
The fact that it…
They fixed that problem with the most recent controllers. The DS4 that came with the console had bad rubber stick but after they released the colored DS4 they change the material and it is really more durable.
for fighting games, bruh? y u no d pad?
And they’re finally adding official PC compatibility. Which is fantastic as the touchpad can basically be used like a laptops trackpad meaning there’s less instances where you’ll need to put down the controller while using it on a PC.
The DS4 wins in my book at this point. Sony really hit it out of the park ergonomically this round. My One controller is collecting dust on top of my comp tower.
How come you guys haven’t covered ps4 firmware 4.0 yet? Or did I miss it. The new quick menu is very nice.
Compared to what? It’s the the most user-friendly console on of this generation, and it performs better as well.
You should buy a PS4 for whatever reason you want to. It’s your money and time, buying one for No Man’s Sky is a perfectly valid reason, and once you have one you can expand into other PS4 games.
Bought my PS4 two years ago because of the NMS Trailer. Played NMS for 60+ hours and loved every second of it.
“Because remember kids, a game isn’t worth full-retail if it gives you months, years worth of consistent enjoyment. Only if it has the obligatory 6 hour campaign, multi-player mode, and every other AAA checkbox ticked off”
I’d say a game that gives me dozens of hours of relaxation and enjoyment is well worth $60. All about dollar/hours of time played and/or enjoyed.
That’s how I’ve been playing it since the start, and I’ve loved every minute. It’s the perfect game to come home to after a long day of work. I make some dinner, crack open a beer, and chill with some No Man’s Sky. I never felt any reason to rush to the center of the galaxy (though I did pick the Atlas path out of…
That’s how I’ve been playing it, and it’s fantastic. I don’t regret paying full price at all.
