Maybe so, but it is still referred to as Gunpla (Gundam+Plastic+models=Gunpla). Doesnt matter if it Zeon, Federation, ZAFT, Moonrace, etc, etc...it’s still a GUNDAM model kit.

If you are trying to separate a super tinie tiny part from a runner, put the
runner inside a plastic baggie, THEN cut it off!! If not, you will run the risk of it disappearing into the ether, lost to mankind and your kit.
