I agree. Same "I'm rambling" thing, same shy awkwardness, same outbursts of her native language when she gets nervous, and their race sounds like they have the same place in society as sort of outcasts. She lacks Tali's "dem hips" though.

I have always pronounced it "jif" and have never heard it pronounced "gif" by any of my peers or in any videos/audio I've heard. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm used to it, but I think "jif" sounds much, much better than "gif".

I like the minimalism. Also, it represents the evolution of video games, since the T and the H are pixellated, while the Q is smooth and modern looking. Pretty clever.

@CMYKfellow: What's wrong with a bezel? I see it as a zone to hold the device by. I wouldn't want to jump through hoops to hold the thing and not interfere with its operation, so it needs a non-interactive surface along the front.
