Right there with you. I’ve played more Wipeout XL/3/HD than any human being has the right to. I still remember the animal ships from XL and how much more difficult Pirahna was to use with the swimming shark. Couldn’t judge those corner for shit on Phantom class.

The lowest difficulty level (vector?) is very slow so you can react to things easily. In the advanced levels (rapier? And I think there is one after that), everything must be anticipated. The real Wipeout begins there.
