Hey Patrick,

1st Gear: This scares the crap out of me. I’m all for driver assist features, but I still cannot come to terms with having no control over the vehicle I am in (I don’t even like being a passenger in most vehicles). This is especially true if the autonomous vehicles remove the steering wheel and pedals. I will never

The Subaru BRZ is 6th on the list, but the 86 or FRS didn’t make the list? Are Subaru drivers just more aggressive/less responsible than 86/FRS drivers? Also surprised to not see the Mustang on this list given that the Camaro and Challenger made the list. I guess because this covers fatalities it doesn’t account for

How many SUVs/Crossovers does a company really need in their product line. As of right now Chevy has 6 of them to choose from and if they add this one without taking one away they will have 7! To put this into perspective, Subaru (A company that sells plenty of Crossovers) only has 8 Vehicles in their entire product

Jason, I couldn’t agree with you more on this. What we the Jalopnik community need to do is take to twitter and all other forms of social media. Everytime an automaker makes a tweet or whatever about their four-door “”Coupe”we should bombard them by saying “It’s not a “Coupe”! It’s a Fastback!”

I call BS on using the boxer engine just to make the BRZ/86 a 2+2. Have you ever been in the backseat of a BRZ/86? As an owner the only people I can see sitting in those back seats are children without legs. The only thing the back seat of the BRZ/86 is good for is dropping the seats to get more trunk space for a full

As someone who will be moving to Germany soon, my tax calculator says I will be paying about 40% of my income in taxes. On top of this, all goods sold in the country or state (not 100% sure if the sales tax across germany is the same or not) are taxed at 20% for the sales tax. One thing I will say, is I’ve noticed

I’ve said this once before, but a good portion of our aluminum is made from recycled materials. This takes 5% of the energy that mining and refining bauxite does. In the US about 36% of all aluminum products are made from recycled materials. What we really need to do is recycle more aluminum, reuse plastic and glass

Neutral/4th: I would never buy a EcoSport or Escape. I just think they are so ugly and proportionally wrong. But I’ve never been a fan on crossovers or SUVs to begin with so.... Also I will be moving to Germany soon. Once I feel like buying a car over there; I’m gonna get me a nice wagon.

First Gear:

Completely agree with you on that. I’m currently in a loaner while my car is being fixed, and my subaru dealership gave me a brand new 2019 Crosstrek. The CVT in that vehicle has gotten so much better in just 3 years. the last model with a CVT I drove was a 2016 Impreza.

Neutral: But will all the battery packs and motors be the same? I mean Jason and David had the electric vehicle video about the i3, Bolt and Model 3. All use different battery packs and motors. So why would it not be the same in the future. Unless you are saying that 1 battery and motor company will have a monopoly on

I mean the last time I checked Aston Martin and Ferrari still made cars that normal rich people can buy. Bugatti is for the ultra rich. The people who have a G6 so they don’t have to fly on normal airlines with us peasants. I honestly think Bugatti would be fine if they never made a SUV.

This thing looks like it has less “Utility” than a Miata.

2020 Mid-Engine Corvette? like 2020 model year or it will be available at the end of 2020?

make people feel alive

I’m probably not the first the mention this, but this really isn’t drifting. It’s more of “skidding to a stop” if you ask me.

No Polestar Blue for the Polestar 1 means no Polestar 1 for me.

Um.... how does Amazon think anyone needs this? If I’m driving and I want to use voice commands I can just use my OK google phrase to pull up my google assistant, Or use whatever Apple’s phrase is to activate Siri. I have both phones. The iPhone is my work device and the Android is my personal device. I don’t need an

Forsaken is pretty great. lots of great quality of life improvements and i’m having more fun now than I ever did in D1. Just wait until you unlock Gambit. If you are not much into PVP, Gambit is the place to go. It’s mostly PVE and a few times a game you can invade the enemy team and try and kill them to slow their
