The RS is a better drivers car. The R is a better daily driver. The interior in the R is miles ahead. It also helps that it doesn’t look like a teenagers wet dream.

In terms of value, no. The value is never there with top of the line models. However AWD and launch control put this car at 3.7s 0-60 with stage 1 software tune. That’s rather quick. Then of course there is the exclusivity.

Not really true. 17MY brings high beam assist, a bezel-less rear view mirror. I might be forgetting something else. FYI high beam assist can be programmed on previous DAP cars AFAIK using something like OBDEleven.

People in this thread are confusing 17MY with what was announced for Europe, which potentially could be our 18MY, MK7.5.
