Agree. I think the person saying that is usually full of shit and wonder what the other person's side of the story sounds like... prolly a lot more rational.

RE: First paragraph: I am always cautious when a person describes their ex as "psycho." It's a red flag to me.

"I guess you're supposed to give this to your mother-in-law. Or, if you want to make it fun, your coworker who just gave birth to a baby boy."
