I know most don’t, my friend has a Gen 1 that had probably never seen a dirt road till he bought it, and I doubt he’ll ever do anything more than drive around on his hunting lease.  But some of us do use them as intended, I had my Gen 2 doing donuts in the mud within 45 mins of leaving the dealer. And there is a

Yes it could theoretically exist in a stable state, but considering the amount of trouble it was to synthesize in a lab, and what was observed cover it’s 188 millisecond half-life it seems HIGHLY unlikely that naturally occurring in a stable form. Maybe in the center of a star somewhere....

I don’t live in a flyover state, but that’s beside the point. You did hit on the point though, philosophical beliefs don’t impact the ability to absorb information, or to do a job.

It took no mental gymnastics, I see the beauty of intelligent design behind the science. I was more of a sceptic in high school, but studying chemistry in college deepened my faith. I can’t understand how someone can learn about one of the basic sciences and not believe in a creator.

You know, the interesting thing is I was quite close to some of my college professors, and I only knew one who believed in evolution. She was an English professor. I know several people who went on to get PhD’s in chemistry, biochemistry, and biology. None of them believe in evolution. My mother worked in hospitals

Holy crap? Really? I’m not the dumbest person on the planet? I shouldn’t throw my self off a cliff or die in a car accident?

It was 1 in the morning

We know all the elements. There are 118 of them. They are given an Atomic number based on how many protons they have in the nucleus. Typically this is balanced by the number of electrons they possess in a stable, pure state. Hydrogen is 1 because it has 1 proton and 1 electron. Helium is 2 because it has 2 protons &

Finally someone who’s not in the grey replies lol

Can you provide documentation to this fact?

See we have common ground. Obviously the creator created the whole universe. I wouldn’t dare say God was localized to earth. But I still believe that sentience and intelligennce is a gift from our creator, not an evolutionary development.

If you look at the amount of creativity that comes out of Asian culture it’s tough to argue. Car culture is very unique, they are responsible for many great engineering advancements, their multi-media is incredibly innovative. Most of the big tech companies are from that part of the world. And they manufacturer damn

Nooooooo. you got me. God’s an ET. Everything I’ve said is wrong.

My beliefs are in creation by God, generally as told in the Genesis account. EXCEPT I don’t believe in a literal 7 days. There are many instances in the Bible of days being symbolic of a much longer time period, the reason for this is that to a being such as God, time is generally irrelevant. It’s like how as a child,

Not even a little bit racist.

Hahahaha this made me laugh really hard

Adaptation is not the same as evolution. I will readily agree to survival of the fittest and natural selection, in isolated populations where no outside breeding occurs. But the path from whatever existed before humans to humans as we exist today is what I haven’t seen proof of.

No, I’m more than happy to admit when I’m wrong, I’m not perfect, and I’m certainly not all knowing, so it happens.

It was almost 1 in the morning, and I was drinking. So yes I will agree my choice of words was poor.

It’s plausible. That’s why I left the whole debate aside. I have no opinion either way on the existence of other life.
