The shock width difference is....shocking. Only 1.8”? I would have expected 2.5”. The difference has more to do with cooling and durability than vehicle weight. The new raptor is significantly lighter than the gen 1 and got an upgrade to 3” from 2.5 so that it could better take the abuse of desert running.
