Wait, is that a thing? Australians pay a luxury car tax? That’s insane.

I would watch NASCAR race COTA....it would be the first NASCAR race I’ve seen in my life!
I love Martini Billboard on the back! This is absolutely the best looking car so far. I’m excited to see in on track!
I’ll be honest, as much as I want the cars to sound good, I do not want them so loud that I have to wear earplugs. The volume has been perfectly fine the last couple of years, they just needed to improve the quality of the sound. Ferrari seems to have done that exceedingly well
It’s a lot easier when you just have AMG and AMG-S for your entire lineup then do a Black Series on special occasions.
No word on how much the 1LE package will add to the standard ZL1's $61,140 base price, but the Camaro SS 1LE’s ZL1 package adds $6,500 to the base price, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the ZL1 1LE cost close to 70 grand.
Fake rivets and no badging makes it look like something a low end body shop created for sema trying to cash in on all this rocket bunny & liberty walk hype. Also I imagine the lack of passenger seat is a option when ordering, because I can’t imagine anyone not wanting a passenger seat. You have a very sad life if you…
I have a thing for 6 speed converted German luxury cars, and bmw’s that let you row your own. Plus it’s only 6k. For less than twice the price you can have more than twice the car & enjoyment of yesterday’s rice box beater. So NP all the way.
The featherweight MCL32 makes extensive use of carbon fiber and composites to weight a mere 1,605 lbs, per McLaren’s exhaustive list of car specs. Up front is a carbon-fiber wishbone and pushrod suspension, and in the rear, a carbon-fiber wishbone and pullrod suspension
This is very interesting! I still want to know Mercedes reasoning on not using a large tail fin! As far as this vestigial wing, it’s clearly not big enough to provide real downforce on its own. But since it’s removable on the Mercedes, my guess is it is specifically for lower downforce tracks and acts to smooth out…
I get calls form friends and family all the time asking for stupid car buying advice or car selling advice. Example:
There is a zero percent chance of Mercedes tipping their hand of some great rules exploit, or wind tunnel advantage before official testing begins! They know every other team was eagerly watching their release and will be dissecting every picture looking for ideas to steal. So they roll out with a minimalist shark fin…
I had a C5 RS6 sedan and it was great! Best Audi I have owned. After I ripped out the DRC suspension and replaced it with coilovers it was flawless.
Why the hell would anyone take a car from America to Europe? Save you money and buy a C5 RS6 Avant, a B7/B8 RS4 Avant, and S5 sedan thing, an E36 M3, a W12 Touareg, or literally any of the other hundreds of forbidden cars that Europeans have.
It was wet, but yes I’m sure the color played a part in the choice as well! It’s not like they were running qualifying laps and needed the fastest tire possible, so why not make it look pretty for the cameras?
At least that one isn’t trying to kill you when you venture off the drag strip, and can go around a corner.
I’m surprised by the vote on this thing. It’s 3k for a 14 year old, ~278k mile car that has rust, bad paint, and is going to need constant maintenance from now till it eventually stops running. Why is that a NP? It’s not even a cool car!
It’s a road car that dominates at the drag strip, but has an extreamly high probability of crashing every time it’s on the road.
2010-2012 Range Rover Supercharged. Specifically in the Autobiography trim if you can find it. It’s supremely comfortable with heated & cooled seats. It has blind spot warning, radar cruise control, and most importantly front impact warning which tells you to panic brake if you start to get to close to the car in…
I thought the same thing....my guess is torch came up with the idea, wrote out the names, decided it was too stupid even for him and threw it in the trash, then Kristin was rummaging through his waste basket and found it.
