@Buran: Wow, you're aggressive! If I ever got a call from you, I'd tell you to calm down or I'd hang up the phone.

@noneck: My Broadcom 4311 (Rev 2) didn't, but I got it working in relatively little time (3 hours). Turned out to be an issue with the B43 (BCM43xx replacement) module not being compatible with my specific chipset (there's a patch but it breaks another chipset, which is why it's not enabled by default). Had to get it

Worked for three years as my student union's computer technician (student unions here in quebec are much less "token" than they are in the US; they do actually carry some weight). Great work experience; and a blessing as a first job.

@busbodger: In the few teas I milk sweeten (most notably masala chai and english assam-based mixes), I use honey rather than sugar. Works well, although it's not exactly hypo-caloric.

@joeny1980: I don't know much about white tea in teabags (while obviously tastes vary, it just sounds like an heresy to me; sorry :D), the rule for loose white tea is the opposite; you need higher steeping times than any other tea for white tea; up to 10 minutes if prepared in a single infusion. Duh.

@fluxam: Vee Elle See. Use it.

Out here in Quebec it is customary to pay the equivalent of the taxes in tip, so about 14%.

Does anyone know of a RSS Newsreader that will scrape links on some feeds? There are some feeds I'd really like to read on the bus, but only offer blurbs in their RSS...

The way I see it for piggybacking:

@ustna: Indeed, it's not a phone. That's exactly the problem with it; it would have had to be a phone.

The new generation of cellphone offer similar capabilities or will soon enough. Sure, the Mylo might be better at it, but who wants to carry this AND a cellphone in his pocket?

Bah; to learn Linux, nothing beats assembling a working system with bells and whistle from Slackware.
