Bioshock's sound design always gives me some good jumps. Splicers are like insane zombies that can speak to you.

He looks a little like Andre from The League. That's an awesome project though.

Got the stuff for my Jesse Pinkman costume. Goodwill had the perfect shirt (a skull with machine guns through the eyes), a red zip hoodie, baggy jeans, and a beanie. What ties it all together is the crushed up blue push pop that I put in a little ziplock baggie.

I am impressed that Punkbuster has made a successful business model of charging companies to include server problems and BSOD crashes in their game.

Can't decide if I should go as Jesse Pinkman or Shawn Spencer for Halloween. Decisions, decisions.

I'd take free iPads and Detlef Schrempf over free condoms, though.

It's a problem with the Punkbuster anti-cheat software. I had it happening last night, but after an update it stopped. They are aware of the issue.

Are you hoping that water won't be wet this Christmas too? You're asking the impossible, man! Just look at the Halloween sale going on. Steam owns your wallet.

Had the worst time trying to play Battlefield 3 last night. First Punkbuster kept kicking me from servers because it didn't update right. Then, I kept getting the BSOD during matches. Pretty sure it's the display drivers that are wonking out so I'll wait for ATI to fix those.

Oh, see I read that as he was checking to see it wasn't a decoy before blacking out from exertion. Maybe I'm just an optimist. I assumed they disarmed it before it went off.

He was there for the Paris nuke. That one did go off. You are able to stop the one in Times Square. There were two attacks. Everything is out of order chronologically, so it's kind of wonky.

It didn't make my list, but there were a dozen or so of us voting. I am actually in the dark of how the final rankings went, so I am just as anxious as anyone else to see how it goes.

My friends and I are counting down the 100 best albums of the 90's on our site Popblerd. It's always interesting to see how everyone's much tastes differ. [popblerd.com]

I'd say Arkham City would provide the least replay, unless you dig the story or perfecting challenges. Both MW3 and BF3 could be good picks, but it depends on what you want in a shooter: are you more run-and-gun, kill steak, K/D obsessed? Then MW3 is the way to go. If you prefer massive scale battles, teamwork, and

Oh yeah! I forgot about the diminished player count on console. I could see the recoil thing being a bit of aproblem though. Hopefully they patch it to be more forgiving on consoles. That said, I only tried recon once, but I lack the patience and discipline to line up shots and quickly went back to my bread and butter

The thing I love about BF3 is that if you play smart and support others, you can feel like you're really contributing even with a terrible K/D ratio. Throw ammo and health kits at teammates, lay down suppressing fire, mark enemies for teammates to kill, secure capture points, and stick with your squad, and you'll get

Is it Sandy Bridge? I'd kind of recommend going for the i5 for the quad core, as i3 is only dual. If he's offering a good price for it though, it'd be able to handle most modern games at high detail when paired with a 6850 or GeForce 560.

How's your internet connection? Lag can make sniping hell in BF. Headshots are still instant kills in BF3, but not body shots, especially with the weak starting sniper guns. You're not using a .50 cal to start with, so it's perfectly reasonable that a body shot would only wing the target. And lining up long range

Which was a dumb move by EA. Personally I actually think the multiplayer is way better than CoD, but that's because I prefer the massive, open maps and focus on teamwork and filling roles. They really have little overlap, and in fact most people trying to play the game like it was CoD are getting rolled. This isn't a

The MP is where it's at for sure. Though the beautiful graphics help.
