I assumed that what really set Bendu over the edge was having his planet be on the receiving end of an orbital bombardment. Like he was fine with the Empire killing people in orbit or with a ground assault, but turning a chunk of his planet into a crater just pissed him off.

Season one I wanted both of them to die very, very badly. By the end of season 2, I only wanted Joe to die. So nice job, Juliana: you now no longer annoy me enough for me to beg the writers to kill you.
