I actually didn't take it that way, but the "once-prolific" thing should've been a dead giveaway.

Billy Wilder and Marilyn Monroe.

"Next time: A once-prolific director and one of his many muses."

"Note: The A.V. Club is owned by Univision Communications."

The hat would like a word with you.

Someone on Facebook suggested David Lynch and Laura Dern, and now I actually think that one is it.

I haven't played Uprising, but the handful of songs from it that I've heard are pretty good.
I'm more of a Metroid fan myself. A full Super Metroid orchestral concert would be amazing too.

It's so easy to forget just how many obscure and/or long-since-abandoned series they reference on the new games. I mean, half of Namco is in Smash in some way or another: Galaga, Dig Dug, Tekken, Baten Kaitos, etc.

If you ever do, you would do well to start with Kirby's Adventure, Kirby Canvas Curse or Kirby Super Star Ultra. (The last one includes the original version of that Fountain of Dreams theme.)

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U

Majora's Mask. Started it six or seven years ago, finished the first dungeon, went towards Snowhead and then just didn't find the time to return. Every year or so I give it another try, stumble, screw around for a little bit, the three days reset and I'm back where I left off. Maybe this will be the year…

True, but I think we can skip on the technicalities for this one.

Galaxy Quest! Where the fuck is Galaxy Quest!? Come on!

If you did, then it is working.
I got nothing on this one.

I don't think "once prolific" means "dead", though.

Maybe. Or Michael Keaton. It depends on how one defines "once-prolific". To me, Burton doesn't fit that bill. His last movie has barely a year ago.
It's not like he dissappeared, he just fell out of favor.

I can't figure it out but since I'm the one who started it I have to say somebody. I'm going with…
