This is an actual transcript of communications between a U.S. Naval vessel and Canadian authorities off the coast of Newfoundland in October, 1995. This radio conversation was released by the Chief of Naval Operations on 10 October 1995…..

Behold, the new teletubbie themed iOS7.

Obviously, "everyone" did not like the Cube nor did everyone think it was "awesome." This latest mac pro computer thing may well join the long list of apple product failures. I'm underwhelmed.

"It's hard not to get excited about iOS 7...." Maybe for you....I'm easily not excited about iOS7. The new 'teletubbie' look may appeal to some but it's hardly ground-breaking or functionally superior. Many of the changes appear to be more evolutionary than revolutionary. It's sad when changes are made more for the

I admire the ingenuity and technology of such boutique wristwatches but it seems like an overpriced, needlessly over-complicated timepiece to me. That said if you want one and can comfortably afford it go for it. Although I doubt you'll wear it playing racket ball, it seems to me that large, high, bubble crystal will

I'm imagine it'll have endless viewing appeal for the pre-teenage user base. Adults may need Dramamine. I concur, it's 'gimmicky.'

The major rock stars of the 1960's took drugs.....who knew?

The stars have certainly aligned for Vettel in his Formula 1 career. That said his talent as a driver is undeniable. All Formula 1 drivers are incredibly talented but I consider Vettel, Hamilton and Alonzo the cream of the crop. Each, however, has their 'quirks' or at least their moments (which is only human).

Sweet! I'm not a huge Lamborghini fan but with that kind of power and weight the car should put-down some awesome lap times on a road course. Frankly, I'm glad to see there's 20 Lambo owners who'll risk their million dollar machines on a road course. Newer exotics aren't that common in the amateur racing

That's sad.....my thoughts and prayers are with the deceased, his family and friends. I hope when safety and car recovery procedures are reviewed they learn and implement safer ways to remove stranded vehicles. Perhaps keeping the towed vehicle level and high enough it doesn't obstruct the tow vehicle operator's

It should be obvious, always lock your doors....even in Jellystone Park. As this learned behavior is passed from bear to bear such intrusions will be more common. Yogi now knows there's an easier way than ripping-the door off its hinges. Can Boo-Boo joy-riding be far behind?

An apple by any other name......

That looks like the lock device I use to 'secure' my auto trailer. I often use a large chain & padlock to secure both wheels on the other side of the trailer for added security.

Good stuff! I like photorealistic artwork. Some of these seem a bit 'freakish' but I admire the subject matter and the artist's talent.

I think it's safe to assume if the NSA (under the obama regime) is collecting all 'metadata' from Verizon they're collecting the same information from all major carriers. Furthermore, logic dictates they gather even more detailed information on any communication "of interest." Evidently, no Americans are safe from

Kudos to Jack White....his tax deduction aside that's a generous act to save a historic venue he loves. His popularity just increased a few notches in my book. Good on him!

First, it appeared that his windshield wipers were running on intermittent instead of being on high speed. Visibility seemed worse than it should have been. Then he says both side windows broke and he was "flushed" from the vehicle. How does that happen without releasing the 'seatbelt' first? Perhaps this was one

Wow...all that science and geometry for a corporate logo that was essentially stolen from the Beatles Apple Corps Ltd. The 'genius' of Jobs/Apple Inc. C'est la guerre!

Being a 'hometown' attraction I've followed the Biosphere with interest over the years. IMHO there were 'cult-like' aspects to how the Biosphere came to be and regarding the initial seed money. If I recall correctly, it was learned that during the 2 year so-called "sealed" mission the Biosphere was in fact opened on

I race a modified Corvette C6. As fond as I am of certain generations of the Corvette I agree it's neither a luxury car nor is the Stingray emblem a hood ornament. I do note, however, the photo heading called it a "badge." Irrespective of whether or not it conforms to the title of the article it's definitely an
