Jones is being pissy but he’s being completely cooperative. Is it normal for the cop to be a fucking asshole right back? To serve and protect...with a side of sass?

Oh god. That Gumbel quote is such bullshit.
I love how Ken Bazemore is the real mover-and-shaker of this story. As an undrafted rookie, on a non-guaranteed contract, playing two minutes per game, teammate Bazemore has more influence on Steph than the arrogant Gods of Nike.
The kids call him “G-d Shammg-d.”
My small joke does just as much harm as the politicians’ thoughts and prayers will do good.
“With the 29th pick in the 2016 NBA draft, Gregg Popovich personally selects Taurean Prince, Baylor.”

Can we not agree that was a terrible challenge from Barry? I'd be fuming too.
Costa and Barry: Still a better love story than Twilight.
Huh. I liked On the Road when I read it at around 20, reread it in my 50s and still thought it was all right. As for films, I haven’t seen it since it came out in 1980, but I sort of remember Heart Beat (Nick Nolte as Cassady, Sissy Spacek as his wife, John Heard as Kerouac) wasn’t awful.
My favorite Kerouac novel was always Big Sur. He was at his lowest with addiction and it’s probably his stream of consciousness at its best. The novel is rambling and nonsensical at times, but his pain is evident. And his poem/epic at the end? Wonderful.
He can’t join SA unless they do a sign-and-trade for someone like Aldridge, which probably takes away the whole reason of joining SA.
+1 Rocketman
As always, smiling and not sharing the rock.
