Tony Robbins philosophy on self-improvement does not comport with #MeToo, as too much of what he said sounds like victim-blaming. Even his apology sounded almost like a non-apology (he wants to “stay true to the ideals of the MeToo movement,” but what about the process/steps already taken by MeToo? Sounds like he’s

DISCLAIMER: Not at all interested in defending Trump, just interested in explaining how USPS is financed.

Deadspin will never pass up a chance to virtue-signal, while Barstool is just... people. imperfect, often shitty people, but still...

if the physical ability of being able to string words together in rhythm makes one a good rapper, then yes. but dicky is cheesy af.

hilarious analogy. i believe i, and many others, subconsciously follow this logic.

i think billy pretty much nails it with his description of dicky - not funny enough to be a full-time comedian, not talented enough to be a real rapper. agree that childish gambino critique was a little harsh (see: redbone). and chris brown indeed still sucks.

Agreed - it was a typically long-winded Billy article, but one I actually read all the way through. Sadly he’s right about this type of shit normalizing usage of the word. I tried to have a conversation about this in the comments the other day, about white ppl using the word at concerts particularly. That shit blows

Here’s another fun one involving Bryant:

i choose not to see them??? im the one who begged the question and remarked about how weird and uncomfortable it was. And guess what. The Now Toronto article you linked to basically sums up my posts here on this topic. Did you even read it?

I definitely batted an eye but i felt like the only one! And for the record, I did not participate in said chorus, so I will assume the “you” to which you’re referring is hypothetical.

I posted this above to someone else but maybe you can help. You seem smart -

I’m not disagreeing with you, but have you ever been to a rap concert? Last one I went to was mostly-white but far from completely white. Maybe 60/40.

I just read El-P’s statement. “The only way to have a perfect track record is to never try.”

Why didn’t the Colts hold onto the 3 pick and draft Saquon Barkley? Isn’t he supposed to be the hands-down best player in the draft, and don’t the Colts kinda need a RB? Will he already be off the board or is there something I’m missing?

How much to replace a lost or damaged pod?

Is that a marvin harrison AND a peyton manning jersey?

yes, but the way the spurs and the rest of the west have been trending, they have not looked like the third best team for at least several weeks now. even when they held the third spot their grasp was tenuous at best. the call stands.

no joke. people are complicated. times are complicated. history is messy. and hindsight is 20/20.

you’re right - i realized that as soon as i submitted it. March 4 is the first sunday following the bill’s signing, so I was notionally accurate. Very excited that i no longer have to kick myself when i forget to pick up booze on saturdays.

It becomes effective March 4th.
