6th gear didn’t even exist until a couple months ago. It used to be 5 gears, then they decided to add 6th gear as a helpful location where you can review some stories curated from yesterday “in case you missed it” (ICYMI) so you wouldn’t have to scroll back through a couple pages worth of stuff.

3rd gear: Can confirm. I’m an engineer working in the auto industry (Michigan) and both Tesla and Apple have reached out to me via LinkedIn in the past few months. Within days of each other, too, which was mildly interesting. Other colleagues have been getting contacted as well, but I don’t personally know of anyone…

Seems like it would make a lot more sense to buy a nice luxury car, a dedicated racing car, anda decent truck or SUV to tow it with whatever this is going to end up costing.
