I really wish they had doubled down on this and gone with more baseball stitching.

Well good luck. I’m sure some must come through your region!
As everyone else is saying, getting the fundamentals right is key. Alfa Romeo is a good example in the other direction. I think the hotted up version has everyone excited but their execution seems a bit wanting. And on top of that I’ve mostly seen their SUVs and entry level cars out and about anyhow.
Except from what I’ve seen Lotus is an opportunist along the lines of Shelby. Oh... you want your random car from an unknown Thai manufacturer fettled with? We got you! Want your engine upgraded? We got you! Lotus is the epitome of “Git ‘er done!”
I love the wheels! I think they make the car and give it motion while it’s standing still. Something that seemingly Honda has been going for but just ends up looking like the car is riding on some razors.
Exactly! People just don’t know. But that’s what course workers are for. Escape routes are also super important. I forgot about those.
This is an amazing example of the rule of staying on the inside of a turn while watching rally or at least behind something immovable such as a tree or rock!!
You mean you forgot until every fifth vehicle on bring a trailer was one...? People are offloading them like crazy right now.
Yeah. I definitely respect the RS2. But this has just made me realize how ahead of the time the Japanese were before the financial crisis that pushed prices up too high to be sustainable.
Naw! The Audi Quattro Coupe is beautiful. This looks from the front like it is in the middle of getting a prostate exam.
This isn’t gonna be popular but - Wow this looks dated! I love the RS cars so much but holy crap it’s crazy to think this is younger than the R32 and R33 Skylines you can currently import. Those cars still look relevant and young... but this looks... old.
To me this price falls into the realm of “f—- it.” If it’s in truly horrendous shape just part it out and get your money back. The rims alone have to be worth the current asking price. Go full Jeremy Clarkson 928 part out and sell things off bit by bit...
Looking forward to throwing these on an Elantra in a few years when the second owners get some crap MSW rims just to be different.
Does this design strike anyone else as a little... lazy? Like I definitely get the don’t mess with success thing going on here. But maybe a different facia in the front? Anything???
I’ve been struggling with this recently. The list is long, but it includes a Dodge Neon R/T, Honda Beat and Nissan Sentra SE-R VSPEC. The MR2 factors high as well but the prices are steep for anything not rotted out or missing an engine in the north east.
*bursts bubble* Looks to me like that’s just a Wrangler outline showing the size for comparison.
I think this really fits in with both “Corvette” and “Mustang” being leveraged into their own sub-brand. The rumors of mid-engined corvettes and a four-door mustang persist because there is enough name recognition and clout within these brand names to cover more than one vehicle.
An example of this being actually put…
