my 135 will do 100 in 3rd gear and that inline-6 sings a sweet song the whole way there. I guess in 2nd gear I’d stay below 50. Just move to Texas, our straights have better speed limits than that.

And the MINI probably drives better, and with a great stickshift.

I know the feeling. My BMW 135 convertible has a plastiky squeak on the passenger side a-pillar that sounds on very road imperfection (including invisible ones) when driving on concrete roads (quieter on asphalt). It’s driving me nuts. Twice BMW of Dallas has said they’ve addressed it, and it just keeps getting…
