considering you’re angry enough to give them the free press of an update, I think they did a pretty good job of accomplishing their goal. To be honest, they really don’t have to say anything about the episode. We’d all watch if it the synopsis were “man sticks finger up butt of another man,” which in fairness,…
No way they can just offer it to Brandon Routh, can they?
I believe with the fan theory that the reason the Dursleys were such jerks was that they had been living with a Horcrux for 11 years, Rowling said that wasn’t her idea, but she really liked it. Point is, I think she’d admit if she didn’t think of something this good.
That’s what I plan on doing if I ever write a novel: leave a lot of open ended questions and vague hints, let the fans come up with complex theories, then choose the best one and pretend it was my plan all along.
Anyone else suspect that, somewhere, Rowling is like, “Oh shit, I never thought about that before... I mean, yup, that’s it! Good for you! You guys figured it out! I was eventually going to tweet it, anyway.”
I’m still grateful they didn’t decide to push a Finch-Root romance.
Paramount has proposed a settlement whereby they will paint "Visit China" on Optimus Prime's grundle, which reportedly will be visible for no fewer than 19 minutes in the upcoming Transformers movie.
Early ‘80s, I think?
I thought we agreed never to mention the killer jizz story again!?! Did you not get the email!?!
For a second I thought you were being serious, then I read “bring back America to make it great again” and I was so relieved
What’s more impressive than your comment is your command of parentheses.
And I think it’s people like you who don’t get that Batman V Superman will go down as the best hero movie ever, once history has had a chance to view it with clear eyes. People don’t want characters trapped in the 60s ( quippy Spiderman), they want fresh new takes on their parent’s material, things that are meaningful…
It’s a poorly appreciated fact that all superheros have the hidden ability to become stronger (or weaker) when the needs of their authors are most dire. (cf that time that superman could push the earth into a different orbit (which would sort’ve make ever losing to a gizmo laden batman rather unlikely (ah but!…
I was right: I didn’t want to know.
If there’s a version of Spider-Man who’s NOT quippy, I don’t wanna know about it.
I’m no giant Affleck fan but the guy does know how to direct. It is impossible he watched the final cut of that movie and didn’t want to give the money back.
I know one actor who realized the movie he was in was shit. Note how Affleck, Fishburne, and Irons are the only three of the main cast to not blame the critics, or at the very least have said nothing, following the release of Crazy Steve v. Super Jesus.
I’m actually so glad they didn’t try to “redeem” or pull an Angel with Ward. They’ve committed to him being genuinely fucking awful without real remorse over it.
My thought was “maybe he should release (or even film) a second one before talking about the fifth”
