I appreciate the well reasoned, extended metaphor, but all I got out of it was a strong hankering for cookies.

I honestly would like to have seen Trank’s total dark version of the movie he wanted to make, if only to actually see what the original vision would have been like. Would it have been an FF movie? Probably not, but it may have been enjoyable in its own way.

Creativity was never their strong suit.

ANOTHER fire/fight starter?

*sigh*

Those three final forms look a lot more like Digimon than Pokemon (I loved both back in the 90s so not trying to disparage, but weird).

I think we already know the answer to the question. No. It won’t live up to the hype. How could it?

A bunch of bad designs for both new and old, awesome.

It’s like they aren’t even trying anymore...

Yeah, but only nooooooooo.

Who is this for? The tone is way too young to appeal to any of the 20-and 30-somethings who watched the original, but all the references to the game show will sail right over kids’ heads.

“And this is for Fury Road! And this one is for Ghostbusters!”

Woah, Green Lantern’s an MRA?

Same here. I decided to try play the other games in the series. Finished Demon’s Souls and am maybe halfway through Dark Souls, but I still love Bloodborne a lot more. I think the lore and world building is much more interesting. That and the weapons/combat feel much better.

Bloodborne is the definition of a modern classic, yes. The word that always comes to my mind when I think about that game is “purity.” It doesn’t have the more complex RPG trappings of its siblings in the DS series, nor does it boast a ton of different mechanics or gameplay pillars - no crafting system, no

Bloodborne is a phenomenal game. It got me into the glory of the Souls series (Praise the Sun!), and is still by far my favorite

I saw my friend Conrad Nomikos fight such a beast on the shores of Thessaly. Even with the help of his great hound Bortan it took days.

Could they prove that she didn’t consent, though?

The exposure of Taylor Swift is literally the only positive thing to happen in America in the last 6 months or so.
