The world is a complicated place. More than one thing is going on at once.
you’re white knuckling those pearls you’re clutching. nobody is saying loss of life isn’t sad, but this guy obviously didn’t lose anyone and, in the face of a lifechanging event, looking at a positive.
Remember this: rich people are rich people first and whatever else they are is a distant second.
I’m certain Oshkosh will come out ahead on change orders, but it’s worth noting they’re already building gas versions in large numbers as part of the original purchase order. It’s not like they’re starting from scratch here.
““We’ll do what they want us to do — supplying either gas or electric,””
“Please make sure that it is in the upright and LOCKED position, thank you,”
There’s certainly some problems with Phos-Chek but I guess better than everything burning to a crisp. Note that it is actually not supposed to be dumped directly on the fire. It is actually meant to create a fire line (a barrier to keep the fire from spreading).
These cars are very popular in the drift community because they are one of the few 300+hp RWD manual cars with a factory LSD that are still affordable. My guess is the dealer is setting the price so high because they are hard to find in this condition without a billion mods/miles on them. Still too high IMO. ND
Must’ve been a cold morning during the photoshoot.....
I really wanted one of these at the time. But in the last 10 years Nissan/Infiniti have become progressively less appealing. I’d be less scared of picking one of these up at that age/mileage than a 3-series, but the price still seems ~$3-4k too high.
I had a G35C 6MT for a decade. It was a great car, traded it in with a little more than 150k miles on it and other than the first couple of years I had it, it was reliable and trouble free.
Respectfully, I’ll disagree about these being good looking cars. To my eye, they’re like an unfortunate mix-up of Nissan Maxima and Hyundai Tiburon. And I don’t know if those Altezza style tail lights are factory or aftermarket, but they make the car look about a decade older than it is.
You know the butterfly effect theory — that if a butterfly flaps its wings on one side of the world, cascading little changes will make for a significant alteration of life on the opposite side of the world? I think that if this Infiniti model had never been created our world would be exactly the same as it is now.…
VICIOUS LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
Selling a brand/company requires a lot of financial disclosures and federal filings. All of which opens the rest of the Stellantis brands to added scrutiny or investigations. They also probably have various union disclosure requirements when it comes to formally selling/killing the brand. Instead, if they pretend to…
Had an 88GT, no real problems other than my son jumping over it at track practice. Different steering made the 88 so much better than an 86. Wasn’t going to beat a Vette, and who cared. I could use it every day and leave the Porsche in the garage.
I test drove a number of late 80's Fiero GT’s in the day... They’re sleek on the outside, but like much of the 80's and 90's GM products, the interior design team seemed to have no clue what the exterior of the car would look like; so there’s this disconnect between the smooth, sleek exterior and very harsh, sharp…
If you’re mechanically-minded, these cars take on a whole new personality when fitted with some of the things you’d find over at V8Archie.
Swap the headlights for static ones. Swap the engine for an LS.
Maybe consider the more intensive roof chop.
I think it’s depends on how old you are and how much you were into cars.
