If it’s global warming, that’s not possible because humans can’t impact the weather.

Using plain logic, outlawing “weather modification devices” will outlaw combustion engines.

“[t]he injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of a chemical, a chemical compound, a substance, or an apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of this state for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or the intensity of sunlight.”

I saw your headline and my immediate thought was “Hey dummy, 2015 was only five years ago! That’s not a decade ago!

This whole DOGE and pony show

Yup..

I just picked up a 2013 Nissan Leaf with 60K miles and almost no battery degradation for $3500, its perfect for bopping around town and short trips.  They are arguably ugly but for the price I had to pull the trigger.

Faced with pretty much the same situation I went with a used Volt, thinking the engine made it an EV with a superpower.  Now my stress isn’t range anxiety, its how to burn the gas in the tank before it goes bad.

JFC bought the rights to manufacture the Hartley V8 as a complete engine back in 2017. I’m not sure if Hartley will still sell you the crankcase / crank kit.

Radical engineering, which I believe is the engine building subset of Radical Sportscars (or vice versa) has their own 70(something) degree Hayabusa v8 as well.

Also this is where Samsung, Stellantis, and Rivian need to not comment about this and let the politicians be their voice. Aside from the conflict of interest this is just gaslighting bait for those CEOs to speak up— throwing them into the political ring: and stifle competition as a result (looking at you RJ). Just

This is why I hate JD so much. He literally wrote a/the book describing the stupidity of the right-wing lower class base, then exploited that information (and them) for votes to further his political career.

That’s why he’s not “in government.”

Kinja breaks all links since forever ago, unfortunately. They will never fix it because it seems Jalop is the last site to still even have a comment section, which is surprising.

Hey, remember how Tesla got Department of Energy loans back in the day to support their early manufacturing!?

It’s amazing how the leaders of MAGA know how insanely stupid their base is, and how shamelessly they pander to and intentionally foster that ignorance.

I vote for he knows he’s lying and doesn’t care.

Well, seems like this is a continuation of what Hartley was doing. Which for a running N/A long block was something like $45,000 if the internet is to be trusted.

I don’t think it’s a wonder. I think it has a lot to do with a low, peaky torque curve.

Isn’t the same thing said about fine art?  One insanely wealthy person paying another one, with the auction house in the middle.

Guy A gives Guy B $120K worth of drugs. Guy A cannot accept straight cash (cuz his bank and IRS surely wont without a receipt), so he “sells” his car to Guy B for ~$40K and the cost of the drugs to Guy B, and now has a “legit” receipt to show the tax man and banker for all that scratch.
