Judging by my drive home today i’d say about 5%

I always thought the real loophole is that he makes more money from his social media than the city’s fines, or even the cost of his car. They take his car and crush it I’m sure he’ll just buy another one, so long as the algorithm supports his antics.

Side thought: I wonder what the percentage of chargers/challengers on the road these days is that are actually currently registered. I feel like that would be an interesting statistic.

Hell, sometimes my brother Cletus says he actually drives faster than his headlights when he’s had a few.”

Seeing this image makes me feel even more sorry for this woman. Who just needed a car, and was desperate enough to trust a place like this.

I know, it is crazy. I bought my Miata on Ebay, but did the transaction at a BHPH. The dude told me essentially how the whole business worked, it was eye opening and sad at the same time. I believe he referred to it as, “the end of the car buying world”.

GM: This union deal will kill us! How could we possibly pay for this labor and keep the jobs in America?!

Welcome to the world of being poor in America.  Little choice, you take what you can get.  That’s real #Freedom.

The dealer does the financing. They draw low income people with bad credit, with these offers, then screw them over (worse than other car dealers). They install starter defeat devices with GPS locators to aid in stealing, I mean repossession.  And since they were the financer, they technically own the vehicle until

First clue that the dealership was going to fuck everybody over the first chance they got:

Regardless, if you have a contract and don’t miss a payment, they have no right to take it. Only way that would be possible is if the contract stated they could repo the car for any reason and were not required to pay back the payments made, which would not legally hold up.

Most likely a BHPH lot that doesn’t release the title to you until you pay off the absolutely absurd amount ($6k for an 18 year old Taurus is larceny!).

How is this not theft? If I did this to a neighbor and their lawnmower I would be in prison within 3 days.

602.20 (1) Where an aircraft on the water has another aircraft or a vessel on its right, the pilot-in-command of the first-mentioned aircraft shall give way- but this area is off limits to boats I was in this plane last week  sad to lose another Beaver

It was the cyclists fault.

Better angle: Even more clear it’s the boater’s fault.

This was 100% the boat captain’s fault. I grew up in Vancouver and in the harbour. I have navigated power boats and sailboats through the harbour many many times.

If I remember the rules right, this is on the boat owner assuming the path was clear when the plane started its takeoff roll / first touched down on the water. It can’t stop, after all, and the boat certainly can change directions much faster (making it the more maneuverable of the two).

Hurts me to say this, but NA Miata. I don’t want to call it a Lotus Elan ripoff, but for all intents and purposes, it was. It was the late 80's best interpretation of Elan. They even tested like 96 exhaust systems to come up with the sound best reminds of Lotus twin cam.

She really is. And I can and do still get her up a bit beyond what the local popo would prefer. A fair bit.
