This human being gets it. High-motherfucking-five

Orthodox Fundamentalist reporting in.

You can re-gray? That’s awesome.

Ding ding

Between the article above and these two comments I think you’ve summed up gamer culture quite well, too.

Huh. Super G&G is definitely difficult, but I didn’t find it overly so. Some people love to complain about the double jump, but I found that mechanic to have a relatively short learning curve. It’s different (which may be why people dislike it) but it’s not “broken”.

Oh, I see. Hmm, I guess that really just chalks it up to plain difference in opinion; I don’t find judging distance, shooting, or the gameplay itself to be very difficult at all.

I’m confused; you state that it’s not just graphics, but then comment on nothing but the graphics.

Do you mean handled well by the player or the game designer?

While I can’t argue that Star Fox 64 is a massive step up, that’s like saying Civilization 3 is a crap game because Civilization 5 has better graphics. That proof doesn’t hold up.

Rank all you want, but accusing some of this lineup of being bad games is idiotic. Star Fox 1 and 2 are absolute gems. Super Castlevania IV is an epic throwback. Calling F-Zero the spiritual precursor to Mario Kart is ridiculous.

While the statement is accurate, you’re leaving out some really vital information:

Pardon me while I feel no pity for people in a red state who got it handed to them by global warming.

This. This right here.

Oh shi-

Good thing I come here for advertisements and not articles.

The AVGN reviews were really entertaining too.

No, just no. Full stop.

The Root is good reading. Tons of really talented writers here.

I find it interesting that you dismissed my honest questions with an insult instead of engaging in a meaningful conversation with someone who was simply trying to learn.
