We may disagree on this, but I think that I would be more afraid of being in a wreck driving an Elio than a Miata.

Well I’m glad they didn’t spend your deposit on you

Oh, that’s good. I was wondering about that.

Used Lexus LS; comfort, power, silky-smooth automatic, RWD, fairly efficient for the size/power, low cost-to-own. You can find a nice LS460 with at or around $30k and decently low miles.

It’s too bad that companies effectively prey on people like this.

Fat folds exist. They also tend to smell. These are scientific facts.

I can not like a car and not simultaneously be shitting on actual human beings. Saying “The Yugo was a giant pile of crap” does not instantly judge everyone who ever owned one.

I’m not shitting on anyone who likes the Elio. I’m shitting on Elio’s business model. They approached a niche segment like they were going to revolutionize an industry. For how to do that correctly, see the Tesla Roadster. I voiced MY OWN opinion of the vehicle as an example of how i think most consumers would

Pretty much. I’ve sold a few cars on craigslist. For the test drive I just put my spare cell phone in with the spare tire with the GPS on.

I guess so. I’m not denying that there are some people who would want it... but I still think their business approach was horrible.

Oh, like the i3? Yeah, I see what you’re saying there, but again, I don’t really have a ton of knowledge on the subject. Is it possible? Maybe, but I’m not an engineer either.

Please keep in mind that I am an astronomy nerd, but I really love that it’s a grand reminder that we are all very, very small.

It’s not fair that I can only star this once.

tl;dr

I don’t know enough about the technology to really comment on that fully. I know that the advantage of a hydrogen car is range and ease of fueling, and that they have similar regenerative brakes and engine brakes like hybrids do, which is paired with (compared to a hybrid) small lithium-ion battery to store that

Oh my freaking word I wish I knew. It usually looks something like this (paraphrase):

There are no words for how little I care about this.

When I was little I got freaked out by the Atari 2600 version of centipede, after that I remember being creeped out by the scene in the NES version of Willow where you’re locked in jail with Madmartigan.
