This is pretty bottom level pseudo-satire especially given the context of Jezebel, a site which specializes in uncritical posting about celebrity gossip. I get the point the writer wants to make but the way of getting there doesn’t work.

Cultural literacy is pretty low in the Jezebel writing staff if you haven’t noticed.
