How deaf do you have to be to be a fan of Katy Perry’s music?

Isn’t Jezebel fixated on pop culture that is marketed towards teens?
Just because Rihanna or whomever some of you think is cools wears this crap doesn’t mean everyone has bad taste and will follow suit.
No. It’s nonsensical. Thanks for copping an attitude about it though. It’s a mash of words that could have been expressed with more clarity (kind of like how “sharia law” is redundant). Saying it’s “aligned” is ambiguous. Is it sharia or is it something inspired but not quite?
A simple drum beat. Big deal. All these performers should fly into the sun. They are all that terrible.
I’m not sure what “sharia-aligned legal code” means since there is no single definitive sharia.
Oops, forgot to edit and correct a few sentences after I changed them. The edit button won’t let me go back in time :(
There’s just been a recent shift (the past two or three years) in how people use the word. Since patriarchy is a dominant social world wide, making it definite through “the patriarchy” seems unnecessary— unless you’re talking about a specific location: the patriarchy (patriarchal system) in the US; the patriarchy of…
When did “Fuck patriarchy” become “Fuck the patriarchy?”
I’m not even sure how to rationalize how some of you are so lost.
You don’t need to listen to the song to know it: It’s yearning for the time when high school dances were cool (but no one bothered to tell you it really wasn’t cool).
Holy crap, this is not a banger. For real, Jezebel staff, get some perspective. This is like ingested turds because you’re a big fan of recycling and thinking “why let anything go to waste?”
How is that “IS THIS A THING?!??” expression still in use?
Has Jezebel ever really thought about doing features on people who aren’t awful pop acts? You know, people in the streets doing hard work to push issues forward?
Don’t you kind of get the feeling that a bunch of nerds just aren’t going to get the swordplay right even if they research it?
Ageism is pretty popular on Jezebel.
That Burneko article was obnoxious.
So you’re saying you didn’t really have a point (or one that was educated)? I’m honestly curious about what you were trying to say. I get throwaway comments, I do them all the time. I just don’t make those comments without having a point to them. But hey, that’s just me! Juuuust meeeeeeee! Ahhhhh oooooooohh waaaaaaaa…
If I want to change my mental state, I just read the comment section of any article online.
Are you really upset someone called you out on your rude comment that wasn’t funny, knowledgable, or useful? Like, if you’re making commentary (as you called it) on people cycling while wearing spandex (or cycling specific clothing), what is it? Or people reading cycling magazines which are basically just reviews of…
