I generally agree with you when it comes to getting money back on a restoration, but in this case I think it could really be different. This is a very rare Jeep, with a restoration that appears to have been performed very well. It’s a brand with a somewhat cult-like following, so I think there are people out there

I don’t really understand the votes on cars like this, like yeah, of course it’s a show car, that’s what you want judge it on. For a weird rare show car in this condition 33k makes sense.

Restored FJ40s are in this price neighborhood (let’s not even get into Defenders) and this is way cooler and rarer. Not a mass-market play but definitely NP for the intended audience.

CARB was created to regulate CA’s emissions. Other states signed on because they wanted to follow the same standards. Has nothing to do with CA wanting to control the country.

Did you miss the part with all the cars driving by him while he was pulled over? Do you also murder people that you think are bad, but since you have never been caught it is a’ok?

Lighten up? We should accept some dick head lawmaker openly bragging to a cop about how often he drives at excessive speed because he has immunity?

MF please...

I don’t think Buell was the key. While I think Buell’s were cool as hell, the majority of motorcycle buyers didn’t think they were cool enough to buy one. Turning Buell into something that would have sold in higher volumes would have meant turning it into something that wasn’t a “Buell”.

Yep, speed limits are there because you have drivers of mixed abilities using the same road. There can also be issues such as side roads that have limited visibility to traffic on the main road, making it unsafe to pull out if the main traffic is going too fast. That whole legalize weed/change speed limits thing is a

I have no idea wtf ‘stuntin’ is.

“the fact is" "the truth is" followed instead with conjecture. Stop apologizing for these assholes, just because you recognize the same tendencies in yourself.

The E46 M3 came out almost 20 years ago.

I don’t think that car is retro to the 80s at all.

This isn’t just Toyota. This inability to make a competent and timely sports car is a culture problem that is rampant across Japan. The Japanese treat sports cars as a pursuit of passion, not an ongoing business proposition. They occasionally have a fun idea, roll with it, put it on sale whenever they finish

The yellow reminded me of this:

Count one more here for the minority. I couldn’t hear myself think over how loud all that yellow was. I am digging the instrument cluster, however.

Have you been watching F1 for a while? This is the way its been... For example, in 1991 only two teams won races at least we have had 3 this year.

Formula One has always been a story of the haves and have-nots but in the past a have-not with a revolutionary idea could jump to the top. Unfortunately, of late, the rules have eliminated creativity and rewarded execution. A team with more money is going to execute the formula better. (Unless they’re McLaren)

Its not a hobby, its your life if you are doing true Road Racing, IOM TT and the Irish series. The closest you can compare is motorcycle racing on a track and it is not the same.
