I’m evidently in the minority here, but that was a great race. It had plenty of drama, strategy, overtaking... what else could you ask for? Of course F1 has problems, but they put on a terrific show today. The last 10 laps were as fun as it gets in F1.

Let’s make it about Lewis even when he doesn’t win.

Do you really want to spend $3000 on a car with 200,000 miles?

If you are thinking it is verging on classic territory (modern or otherwise) then an engine swap is the worst thing you could do. Classics need originality or the appeal tanks.

The track rating system is just a scam for the FIA to extort more money out of tracks. Azerbaijan is grade 1. It’s not like its actually backed up by anything other than cubic dollars.

The race was good. Jalopnik’s “coverage” was awful, as per the norm.

I was trying to troll, but yes they are purpose built sports cars, even though I hate them. It’s by no means anything special, but for that price point I guess it’s not bad. They could have done a lot better, but they also could have done a lot worse. I’m rubbed the wrong way by these cars every time I see one, mostly

86 - “purpose built sports car”

WTF? This was confusing as hell. I think you’ve got some numbers wrong and stuff. Maybe give it a once-over and try it again?

So Toyota now offers a Yaris with more power than the 86?  Nothing makes any sense any more.

Exactly. $4200 will get your a NICE carbon 22 speed road bike with hydraulic disk brakes.

“The bicycles were intended to introduce young riders to the Harley-Davidson brand and were styled to look like the company’s motorcycles.“

“you wouldn’t want your Supra driving like a convertible, would you?”

Signing the contract was the stipulation on the sale. Cena was in the wrong as he knowingly signed the contact then flipped the car, violating the terms of the contract. Cena would have lost that lawsuit as no judge in their right mind would consider 24 months impossible to perform and not against public policy.

Sorry, but there’s pretty much no way that Cena could have won this case. The hold-off on resale was a valid covenant and condition of the sale.

We accept restrictive covenants for real estate all the time - try telling your condo board that you are selling your unit to a recently-paroled pedophile who is willing to pay an above-market price.

Dood, you can buy this product, but buying it means you have to agree to X,Y, and Z. It’s not like Ford didn’t make purchasers aware. It’s not “turn the freedom to 155% and honor no contracts” after you buy thing such as these. FFS.

Out of curiosity, what’s your background in contract law?
