I agree that Toyota really phoned it in. As a BMW owner, I say it’s fine because you get a BMW interior at Toyota prices. Wait, the Supra costs how much? Fuck you Toyota.

No. The steering wheel is the ugly part. I wish they speced that from the Toyota/Lexus parts bin.

Ok I really like it, but while I not one to jump on the “it’s just a rebadged BMW BAD” bandwagon, I will just say that they did a lousy job a Toyota-izing the center console.

Looks precisely like a BMW interior with a Toyota steering wheel. Even this UI is straight-up damn near identical to BMW:

I don’t understand why they don’t make the new Passat on the MQB platform either. They are making the Arteon in North American on the MQB platform and the Arteon is the replacement for the Passat CC.

As the previous owner of a 2015 I can't believe they are recycling the interior so much. By far the weakest part of this car. I had the V6 SEL, which was otherwise actually a very fun car to drive, but I couldn't stand the interior. 

A few things I immediately noticed as an owner of a 2017 Passat:

Man, that styling is so sad, even sadder if those prices are indeed correct for the car too, they had something great with the concept. The car just looks plain puffy compare the more angled concept.

Way too much hype for an uglier Z4 with a Toyota badge. I don't think anyone would give half as many shits about this if it was called anything other than Supra.
