Totally agree. Have to say though - CSG is easily the nicest color for a GTI. Not loud or obnoxious, but very interesting and eye catching in its own right. Kind of suits the car perfectly.

Haha I get that question at least a few times each week. I’m a bit hesitant to say for my own selfish reasons. But they are OEM VW wheels (only available as accessories - never came on any models from the factory). =P

I hated the price too, but it was an absolute must for me. Also wired and coded them for proper functionality with amber signals and rear fog. SO worth it.

My car is kind of the opposite. It is “Carbon Steel Gray”, but usually looks greenish or even blueish depending on ambient light haha. Only looks properly gray a fraction of the time lol.

Open your airbox, take out the filter and you’ll see a black plastic “grate”. This is an intake resonator to remove some intake noise. It pulls straight out. Then replace the filter with a high flow one (I’m running an AFE Dryflow). Instant solution for more intake noise.

Specs alone do not a hot hatch make.
