Wouldn't be surprised if its there by law (being a hatchback), rather than necessity.
I think its only a 2 seater with "parcel shelves" in the back IIRC.
Watched this the other night and was stunned. Love this line: "You get a GTI because you know there's more to life than 'it'll do'. You buy a GTI because good enough isn't good enough; it's gotta be perfect."
Haha. My favorite part of having bi-xenons. Properly aimed and unobtrusive low beams, but spectacular high beams when needed. The mechanical low to high switch is super quick too - makes for some nice quick flashes when necessary.
What do you think?
Forget optional xenons in the standard C-Class. EVERY 2014 Corolla comes standard with freaking LED headlights! Even the extremely base model with no options and steelies.
Probably integrated into the headlight clusters.
Seeing tons of VW CC and Audi A5 here.
Looks like an Accord coupe in profile, and has tail lights from an A4 (slightly stretched). It's handsome, but I can't say its entirely original.
A lot of manufacturers use existing body styles with all new internals when prototyping and testing.
M80 Social was the agency behind the tweet. More specifically, a brilliant man by the name of Andy White. Had a brief twitter encounter with him just after that tweet. Ironically, Audi opted not to renew their contract with the agency just a few weeks before that defining moment. It is arguably the single greatest…
FinalGear.com. You're welcome.
I see what you did there.
To be fair, Chrysler didn't make the ad. Ad agency GlobalHue is the team behind the work. Interesting departure from their previous agency, Wieden + Kennedy even though the tone and feel of the spot remained largely the same.
It's a tough call - I can see both sides. I think they placed their bets that people would go online and end up on their website with product info, etc. Doesn't look like that bet tuned out in their favor unfortunately.
I don't think they should have explicitly shown the price - it would dilute the prestige and perceived exclusivity associated with the brand. They should have made a clearer mention/allusion to who the "giants" are to them: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, even Porsche.
And then people realize the Ghibli starts under 70k. Suddenly "attainable" to a whole new group of buyers.
Doesn't mean there isn't a market or a need to advertise a new product though.
