Really eloquently explained. Thanks for taking the time to write that all out - definitely makes sense.

Holy Jesus, that's gorgeous. Excellent choice.

SO. MUCH. WANT.

Realistically though, the MkVII GTI is in my price range, while this is not. Really anxious to get more info on the GTI so I can go order one!

My favorite GTI color. Shame they didn't keep it around for long.

Now playing

There are self-leveling HID projectors as well. They compensate for changes in vehicle load and even turns. The same system enables adaptive headlights that angle into corners and such.

This is true of any properly designed headlight system, not just HIDs.

Fully agree. That was one hell of a concept and actually had some of the original Quattro in it (5 cylinders FTW!). Desperately want them to build it.

You must be tons of fun at parties.

Likely a modified exhaust (or straight pipes, which is unfortunately a common "improvement" made to these cars). The stock engine and exhaust are absolutely orgasmic sounding.

Sounds like a modified exhaust, so I'm marginally less of a fan. And the editing/audio splicing was a bit strange. But my god, that is a hopelessly pretty car. Easily my favorite car of all time, bar none.

I always move a lane or two over if I can. And if I can't, I always make sure to slow down a bit and edge over in the lane to give ample space.

It's the law in FL to move over for stopped emergency vehicles. Very few people actually do it though, and I don't think I've ever seen anyone pulled over for not doing so

The Gallardo sounded just like the R8 V10 as well. Same engine, essentially.

No. Dual turbo.

Not initially. But they tend to dry out and crack with all the heat that car interiors are subject to. Not to mention they can sound fairly tinny and distort very easily.

To be fair, the engine and transmission will likely be variations of what's in the latest R8.

Hopelessly pretty. And I'm so happy that the V10 is sticking around - possibly my favorite engine behind the Carrera GT's.

Can someone explain this meme to me? Ive been seeing it everywhere lately but don't quite understand it or how it came to be.

This. All of this. I want the Honda we knew in the 90's and early 2000's back. To me, the company began to go astray when the S2000 was killed off. The entire company died completely after the 9th gen Civic/Civic Si was replaced.

Seriously awesome job, thanks for the link! But to be honest, I'm looking to get a MkVII GTI once they're out in a few months, so I can't justify a project like this haha.

2013 Accord is the biggest offender of this.
