If you spend the money instead of putting it back, it's no longer a scam as you're not getting something for nothing.

When they're done it will be illegal under penalty of life in prison to consume any recorded media in any way and we will all have to pay a monthly protection fee to ensure music we may have accidentally heard is licensed for use in our brains.

Subsonic supports video streaming to Android devices and to the browser (as well as Roku, XBMC, and Boxee). This alone makes it far better than any other option. It has almost completely replaced Netflix for me (Subsonic + Sickbeard + Usenet = Win).
