Bought a 2018 just before Easter.  Absolutely love driving it.  Took it on a trip with the Mrs. up to Niagara Falls over Memorial Day weekend (~4 hours from home).  10/10, highly recommend.

The MarkV Jetta TDI. I know all about the dieselgate issues, but hear me out. The DSG transmission was fantastic, and my 2010 regularly got 50 MPG on the highway. Plus I still think it was the best looking of the lot.

You mean besides gas station sushi?

While I do love a good longroof, the fuel to keep this thing running would require me to take out a home equity loan.  ND

Well, there’s been some pretty good tracks listed, but I’d have to go with “Hot Rod Lincoln” by Commander Cody, “One Piece at a Time” by Johnny Cash, “Black Betty” by Ram Jam, “I can’t Drive 55" by Van Halen, and “Copperhead Road”, by Steve Earl.

    1. The route will be laid out on Roadtrippers to maximize touristy things.

I doubt you’ll get this for sticker at release...

Dad’s ‘76 Chevy 3/4 ton.  350 4bbl, 4 speed manual with the HD clutch and transmission.  Great leg workout in traffic.  Helped a buddy of mine move to Bethesda.  Trying to follow him in his Fiero on the beltway was a nightmare.

The Victoria’s Secret sponsorship in the Craftsman Truck Series.

Easy, proving the indestructible nature of the Toyota Hilux!  Especially the end when it was perched on top of the building being demolished.

Not me, but my dad. Dad used to work for NCR back in the day as a cash register repairman. (Way before everyone started using their iPhones and Square and the registers were mechanical, not computerized...). Told store owner (during the race riots) that he would either have the spot open directly in front of the store

None of them.  I find them all to be exceptionally boring, and the delivery of the host sounds like he’s reading from cue cards.

Gen 1 Ford Fusion looked a lot like the Honda Accord back then.

The Greenberg Cadillac Museum in Brookville, PA. Because who else would have more than one Cadillac Cimmaron in their collection? Seriously, I spent a couple hours with the guy who assembled the collection and he’s super interesting to talk to.

My personal preference is to be purely functional. Like mudflaps and Weathertech floor mats. Nerf bar steps for the Bronco with a winch mount and winch for when it goes off-road.

A convertible 2-door Acura RSX could have been fun...

Well, since my employer no longer has an office in my hometown, and I’ve been working from home for over 3 years now, a comfy pair of merino wool socks to get me from the second floor of the house to the first floor where my home office is will do just fine.

The Cadillac variable displacement engine from the 80's ran on 8, 6, 4, or only 2 cylinders.  From a GM nutjob...seriously?

Wasn’t driving, but a passenger. The Mercedes AMG G-Wagon totally sucked. Sales guy I was working with had one, we had to do a drive of about 4 hours each way in February in PA. It started snowing on the way home, and the only option to keep the windshield clear was to blast the defrosters on “bake”, or the wipers

I had a 2008 Evo X (GRS) and drove it back and forth from Pittsburgh to Philly and DC a number of times.  I loved it, and the Recaro seats were great.  Never noticed the potholes with as much fun as I always had driving it.
