May I present to you the 1974 Ford Mustang II (This is a later model Ghia, but you get the idea). My uncle in Philly was getting rid of it, it cost me $65 in parts to get it to where it would pass inspection to drive it home to Pittsburgh. 2.3l Lima 4-banger with no power, no torque, no redeeming qualities at all. Used

Even though the Scout 3 never made it to production, I would be much happier if VW would do an ICE version of the Scout when they resurrect it. Stretch this bad boy to have 4 doors and ease up on the rake for the back. Plus look at those wheels! That would be a winner.

I had a ‘79 IHC Scout 2 Terra (Pickup configuration). The gas tank rusted under the straps. Bunch of swiss cheese there when I dropped it out. Thanks to a little trick my dad showed me on a garden tractor tank (filling the tank with exhaust from one of the farm tractors), I managed to weld the holes shut without

I do (not) find it odd that no one has suggested the massive, woefully inadequate, emissions choked, Cadillac 500 CI V-8

The Dodge Challenger. Yes, it looks good, yes it has ridiculous amounts of power. When you’re driving it, can you actually see anything? No. The sight lines out of it are atrocious. Passing on the interstate involves prayer. Driving in a major city involves having in-flight refueling options. As much as I love looking

It’s the only car on their website.  I checked.  Can’t imagine they sell many of them...

    This...

My mother has asked me what to buy several times since I became an adult, and always bought something else. I don’t know why she even asks me. Back in the day Dad always had a 3/4 ton pickup. Mom always had a car. All of our vehicles when we were growing up were purchased secondhand. The 4-door, metallic avocado green

Those stupid eyelashes for your headlights...

    This...

Dang!  I wonder if I can keep the Volkswagon long enough to trade on something that looks like this...

I owned this one for five years before I had to get something “practical.” Yeah, I still kind of miss it. The Mrs called it my “mid-life-crisis” car.  Never in five years did it need more than regular oil changes and tires.  Absolutely bulletproof.

    This...

I wish the wife’s Acura 2018 TLX had a manual. Don’t get me wrong, as automatics go, the 8AT in it is actually a pretty good transmission, but that car would be far better with a dogleg 7MT.

I had one, a 2013 2500 with the 6.7 Cummins and the 6MT.  It was awesome to drive until all the ancillary systems started crapping out.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt, passing all the bro-dozers, Jeeps, and Range Rovers stuck in the median, crashed into the K-rail, or in the ditch while calmly and sensibly driving all the way home with no issues.

Well, I would have to say this...

Living in the northeast US, you need to be prepared for any weather. Doesn’t matter if you’re flying or driving. There will be weather. Last year we had to haul our niece back to Penn State from Pittsburgh. The drive there was fine, the drive back to Pittsburgh was a bit dicey. I had opted to drive the wife’s Acura

There’s a tone of malaise era cars that could make this list, but i present to you the Chevy Corsica.

I actually considered this before I decided on the Viper.
