Mercedes G500. Had to spend 8 hours in one that a co-worker had going to a customer meeting then back home in the same day. Oak church pews are more comfortable. My back was killing me so bad that I was dying to get home and into the driver’s seat of my ‘97 Dakota that was infinitely more comfortable. Add in that

Anyone remember the horrendous FM radio converters? Had one in mom’s ‘73 Ford Gran Torino. Sometimes you would get music, most of the time you got static. It only worked when the AM radio was tuned just so. They were hateful things and we probably would have been better off putting a $20 radio in that car.

So far, everyone is wrong. Here is the correct answer:

Idaho, or South Dakota in the Black Hills. I’ve been to all 50 states. I’ve never driven in AK, but I’ve been there. Idaho was amazing, twisties all day long with amazing scenery, and the same in SD.

Aston Martin Lagonda?  How has nobody mentioned this yet?

Surprised I haven’t seen Acura on here yet.  THe Mrs. has a 2018 TLX that could use an additional 50 HP.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not lazy, but a little more oomph would be welcome on the highway.

Add to this locking hubs for the front axle so you can properly disengage the front axle when you don’t need it to save fuel.

Brother had a 1974 Chevy heavy half-ton pickup with the three on the tree. The transmission linkage under the hood was worn out, so periodically you would pull up to a light and got to shift from third to first and the linkage would hang up. Turn off the truck, run out to the front, pop the hood, reach under and pop

Brakes.  Get the carbon ceramic pads at the least, slotted rotors too.  Far less brake dust, better stopping.

Any Nissan with the CVT.  Those things were awful and I had a heap of them as rentals...

Lexus LFA. When the engine revs so hard the tach has to be digital to keep up. Plus the noise from that engine was awesome.

There are places I go where there is no cell connectivity, so no Google maps there.  When you think about where a Bronco can go, there are going to be places with no cell services, so having the built-in nav can be a bit of a big deal...

Neutral: My 2017 Golf R is doing fine as I took it out for some exercise this past weekend to get the tires up to temp and round out the flat spots from sitting. Working from home means I rarely drive anything any more...

    Can we count the Changli?

Well you beat me to it.

Pittsburgh is far worse than Cinci.

Wow, it looks like they forgot to put in another two holes...

In order to get a driver’s license, you need to know how to drive a manual transmission.

Smokey and the Bandit 3.  Horrible.  Also Convoy (Yeah it’s tractor trailers, but...).  What a waste of time...

Hot Rod Lincoln, by Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen.
