It’s not that “there aren’t smooth roads on the coast,” it’s that we’ve somehow got this reputation for smooth roads, when MOST of the coast suffers reasonably extreme day/night delta temperatures, so moisture that inevitably accumulates in/under the pavement inevitably ruptures... leading to TONS of potholes.

Did you intentionally ask the same question twice?  Or is that a copy-paste error?

No we don’t.

You missed some important points:

Hear, hear!

They’re replica C5ZO6 wheels, so pretty darn close to “period-correct.”

LITERALLY all C4 Corvettes are Targa-Roof coupes.  Just because the top is painted, only means the original buyer didn’t check the option for the acrylic/see-through top.

As a Central Coast resident, I cannot star this comment enough.

I’m SO confused by this; my old E63 had a 4.0L TT V8, but made a full 100 horsepower more than this car. Is it a series of typos? How does this car suffer a 100(!)-hp deficit?!

THIS is the truth that hardcores don’t want to admit (I only admitted it recently, myself).

I wished this was the case SO hard, that I put my money where my mouth is and got rid of a Mazda CX-9 for an AMG E63 wagon. We kept the wagon for about a year. Dynamically, sure, it was wonderful. But it was MINIATURE compared to a standard SUV, especially a 3-row-crossover. We got rid of the AMG for another Crossover.

Last time I checked, this was an automotive news site.  YOU might not be familiar with him but [checks internet], he’s NOT a ‘relative nobody.’

THIS is good reporting!

TAKE your filthy star.

My C7 Z06 (and everyone is going to HATE this); the auto-blip feature on downshifts. It’s THE. MOST. FUN. THING. EVER. Sometimes, I downshift when I don’t need to (you never need to) JUST for the epic sounds it makes.

As the owner of a 7th-generation Corvette, I can confirm that the ventilated seats haven’t EVER been drafty-enough.

I’m gonna stop you right there, and say, the only reason the R34, the Supra, and the RX-7 were IN F&F was because of GT.  F&F only stoked the fire ignited in the bellies of us youngsters by GT.

AHH HAHAHAHAhahaahaaa

EXACTLY. This little write-up was clearly authored by someone who doesn’t actually know the difference between a wailing 600cc inline-4 and a 700cc parallel-twin... They are NOT competitors on the track.

Pretty sure the current generation car debuted in 2013 as a 2014 MOY, considering that I purchased the first of the new generation sold in my state.
