My hope is that Lego worked out a licensing deal with AM that extended beyond this one set and into a series of Speed Champions sets.

I’ve started building these Lego cars as entertainment to pass the time during F1 races. The timing is perfect. Taking my time, it takes just under 1 F1 race to build a car with all the stickers and you’ll have time to watch any actual interesting passes.

Looks like a Miura to me. I have the Vette, Mustang, Camaro (new and ‘67), and Audi R18 sets. Only the Vette survives unmolested, the Audi is about 75% complete but in bad shape. Keeping them out of my kid’s hands has been difficult.

The headlight eyelashes are the tipoff.

The key is to build it in a big enough scale. Then it doesn’t look like an old Aston with its face pushed in.

Looks like an Audi Quattro emasculated by JC Whitney flair stuck all over it.

YouTube reflects humanity. It has the most brilliant and wonderful along with the most base, ignorant, and evil. It’s simultaneously one of the greatest tools that’s ever existed, one of the greatest forms of entertainment that’s ever existed, and one of the worst influences that’s ever existed.

I don’t know, some people can’t read for shit and the DIY stuff on there can be golden for them.

...for the kids, really buy them for myself.

I’ll admit it right here and now, I was the winning bidder for the Ecurie Ecosse D-Type. Here she is, in all her glory.
