@talkingstove: No, but it's his fault for trying to draw conclusions when there's too much fragmentation to get an accurate comparison. He should have just said that. Also, that table is just plain hard to read, and should have been broken into two tables: one for flash 10.0 and one for 10.1

Does anyone else find this to be terrible data reported even more poorly? The headline is HTML5 vs. Flash, but only ONE configuration (chrome) actually compares the two head-on. The chart is poorly-organized and hard to read, and there's not enough data to back up anything about flash vs HTML5. Really, this data shows

I always find it funny when you're at an event like a concert or something, and people take pictures with their point-n-shoots of things like 100 ft away, and use a flash. Silly.

I am a chemical engineer, and worked an internship in the food industry. One interesting thing I learned is that they can completely artificially synthesize chemical flavors molecularly identical to the flavor chemicals found in natural plants. Then that artificially created flavor is a "natural flavor" that I believe

@wooties: Funny thing is, I had just discovered the forced option, and had used it on said file for the first time. I missed the "disallow incoming legacy connections" bit, though.

Hey people who know more than me!

Don't forget the Daily Show and Colbert report for your after-news recap.

I'd start off trying IPA (rubbing alcohol) as it's less damaging and should be almost as effective. Then move to hairspray.

One thing I've done for years while sitting for extended periods is to lean back slightly (not against a backrest), lift both feet about an inch off the ground, and keep your abs taught. Keep it up until you feel the burn, rest for a minute, and repeat. It'll also keep you warm if you're in a chilly room. Try it while
