No access to the android market? at first I was like, cool a company is finally releasing a slew of gadgets at the same time so that people can choose what features they like. Now I'm like, 'o crap what features?'

I have an android phone, and Pork is my favorite meat. I like birds I guess, and I read the news all the time. Now why the hell would someone try to figure this out?

@MPerlo9: You can probably just tuck the thing behind an lcd screen, monitor or tv and it would be completely unnoticeable, thats a huge boon. If you compare this to other mini htpcs, or the roku, they are noticeably bigger.

@headstash: Thats a really good point. But then again, netflix streams stuff too. If hulu was added it would be the total package. Again I guess we'll have to wait to see what happens with googletv.

Great price, if they somehow add hulu, its over. Really want to see the googletv response. Also incredible form factor, the thing is tiny.

@Teclys: I guess I complain on the Giz comments section, because at least the Giz readership is pretty knowledgeable about gadgetry and the problem with a fragmented market. Although this is really a problem with hardware makers, not with android as an OS which is awesome.

@acatzr800: Yup I've got an incredible, and when I turned the brightness down when I was outdoors on a sunny day I noticed an improvement. Its slightly less crappy when you do so, but its still crappy, just slightly less. You can always get an anti-glare screen protector, although it causes the screen to be a tiny

@Teclys: Well, for one I had a problem the system memory which you described as "more than sufficient." There is a memory error that occurs that clearly says "phone memory getting low" when all I happened to be using was about 100 MB of the 700 or so that comes on it stock. I read on many HTC and droid forums that

@Teclys: there are plenty of reasons to complain when Sprint offers a bigger screen with 4g and the droid x came out within months of the incredible, not to mention the htc merge that will be out on VZW at the end of the year with 1 - 1.5 ghz and is a worldphone with front-facing camera. Evo has 2.2 as does the

@El Pollo Loco: Yup, I guess my complaint is more with hardware manufacturers that don't update automatically when the new firmware is released, my OS is now outdated. I really would like the faster browsing speeds and 270 degree rotation. The only thing I like about HTC Sense is the clock widget. Other than that

Speaking of which, I just checked to see if my HTC incredible was ready for the OTA Android 2.2 froyo update. And for the thousandth time of me checking, no effing cigar. This is precisely why I will not ever buy another phone that doesn't have the latest version of the OS firmware.

Damn, coconut porter sounds awesome. Although now you've totally killed the thought of ever making beer can chicken due to the BPA. Unless of course that one hippie comes up with that BPA free coating, then I'm all over it.

@drewheyman: "It itthss is a Tunic. It was the height of fashion 3000 years ago, I assure you."

Before I even read the post I thought eye of Sauron. Then when I read @FriedPeeps saying it looked like the sun's a-hole, I thought of goatse and then looked one post down @DiExMachina. I can tell that Gizmodo is really the best website for me to be.

@FriedPeeps: someone needs to do a goatse photoshop on this thing.

@ophmarketing: I think we may even see some entries in the android category that may outshine the iPad at least in terms of specs and features, especially when netflix brings an app to android. However, you are probably correct about iPad selling the most, because of the huge and loyal following to apple iDevices.

@acatzr800: Yes, but Imagine you are in a dark room, you turn up the brightness settings and it looks great and vibrant. The same concept works inversely when you are using your phone outdoors, too much brightness translates into even more screen glare. Surprisingly the darker it is, the easier it is to see in

Looks nice. I guess its a waiting game to see who comes out with the best android tablet this holiday season.
