I see this thing going to android in a heartbeat.
I see this thing going to android in a heartbeat.
@whatne1wuddo: I don't know if you have a ps3, but HBO is coming to the ps3 as well.
@pseizure2000: I was very much considering building an htpc. Now, however, I am pretty sure I am just going to hook up some network attached storage to stream stuff that I've downloaded or ripped. Plus I want to wait and see if google tv is any good at combining netflix, hulu, amazon, etc onto a set top box for my…
There is some crazy shit going on out in space. Not only that but the thermosphere collapsed last year. Wtf is next?
I always wondered what the point of cooking sous vide was. I always thought that browning meat was the best way to seal in juices and carmelize for maximum flavor. I guess I can see the point for perfectly cooked pork chops or certain recipes that require a precise temperature level.
Hmm, well, I do have netflix and an xbox live account which gives me streaming media. I don't think I'll buy into this until I buy a second xbox 360 so I can at least stream netflix on a different television than I do hulu plus on my ps3. Once HBO comes to the ps3 I really don't even think I'll need cable television…
@asidrayne: yeah, I'm not totally sure how CFCs, global warming and air pollution factor into changes in our atmosphere, it was just a guess.
@Nikkoli: thats damn interesting that the Earth responds to the increase in solar flares before they occur.
@robot-shmobot: haha, i totally read it as 'sky mall may not be actually falling' lol
@tegronin: for some reason all I can think of is Tony Toni Tone
@asidrayne: This is probably a question for a physicist, meteorologist or astronomer, but wouldn't less atmosphere mean a greater chance of being seared by solar rays?
@DeadWriter: I totally love to read obscure conspiracy theories that people believe in, also check out the rap group atma, those guys spit the craziest reptilian body snatchers, isis, imhotep, Mu, grays, mind control shit ever. Never heard of aquatic man apes, gonna have to check that link out XD
@Siderz: I should have typed less unhurtful or less de-excruciating. Either way it does make me wonder, would it hurt more or less than a nuke? If you survived, probably more, if not, probably less. However, I don't think its possible to survive a solar flare, unless maybe your leg is sticking out of a lead…
@bugwump: You have to be starred to promote a comment. This is the first case of someone being asked to have a comment promoted and then being promoted. I should have just asked to be starred so much earlier as a reader/commenter and I'd be promoting and banhammering Steve Jobs right now.
@Nikkoli: I also wonder if a change in the thermosphere would create any tangible differences in our climate or susceptibility to solar flares...
My theory is that the world will end when the atmosphere completely rips away from the earth due to the global warmings and/or air pollution and then we will all get cooked instantaneously by solar flares. I imagine it would look like the nukes going off in Terminator 2 only way quicker and less painless.
Kyle, were you not potty trained until you were 11? You're going to have to look into this to save face buddy.
@Malfoy: Yeah the giz review wasn't so kindly to the droid x. I'll have to try one out, probably not going to get one either after all. I think I'm going to wait for an android phone on VZW with a front facing camera with 4.3 inch screen, something more akin to the iPhone screen, because that thing is just…
@chris32680: On second thought, its sort of love/hate for me because, on the one hand all the different android phones create a fragmented market, however, on the other hand it gives the consumer way more options to pay for what kind of features they would like. The latter is actually a boon to the consumer because a…
@StupidPopMediaReference: nice, thanks, that means next May I can get a new phone if there is a new droid out with front facing cam and bigger screen, heck the iPhone will be out on VZW by then also.
