@dtptampa: Its true, only indie artists really get paid, and thats usually not very much unless they bust their asses because they don't have million dollar marketing, etc. Also when an artist is signed to a major label and gets screwed on publishing rights, all they can do is sprite commercials and bar mitzvahs to

It might be cheaper to just steal the cd from a store. If you get sued, they probably wouldn't get as much. As far as the criminal record goes though...

kinda neat I guess, I would hate to see this thing get hacked for nefarious reasons to scald people

@zaxwashere: lol, that thing looks like it could power a small country.

@PierceTheVin: TJ, Ensenada, Encinatas, Mazatlan and Cancun. I am not fluent in Spanish, but I can get by somewhat. And yes, everyone either thinks I am Mexican or Middle Eastern.

@MaxPoint: I bet that thing cooks your brains when you put the handset to your head.

@PierceTheVin: yeah, I'm a bit of a foodie, took Spanish in high school and college, have been to Mexico a bunch of times and lived in LA, which basically was Mexico until America bought the entire west coast from Spain.

@Piledriver: funny, I think there are fanboys for each OS, and OLD school mac people are just old school mac fanboys. It really is stupid to have blind faith in any one brand or product because there are always either new iterations or competitors that do it differently.

Score one for android, the father of cellphones prefers the android OS. Although I want to avert my attention when he says that phones should just be phones and nothing else. What he says sounds a lot like what Woz mentioned about making technology that is user friendly and not making technology that is difficult to

@Lord_Data: I almost wish I could have gotten that for my dad, he likes new shiny phones that are complicated, but doesn't know how to use them that well and doesn't want a nice smartphone because it requires a monthly data plan of 30 bucks.

@PierceTheVin: There is quite a large Mexican community up in the Northwest. I've heard that some of them are seasonal workers that follow the picking seasons for farm work all up and down the west coast from California up to Washington. Not as big a community as California, which I miss because then I look like

@2 replies: she is quite possibly the hottest female sci-fi character ever, there are a few others, but she basically takes the prize, if not Tricia Helfer as Number 6 from BSG. Something about female sci-fi characters and numbers, 7 of 9 and Number 6. I'd like to be the 8 in that number sandwich.

@champs794: "Name's Barf, I'm a mog, half man, half dog. I'm my own best friend!"

On a side note, the show Louie is crazy hilarious.

@PierceTheVin: Its a fairly common restaurant chain in the Northwest called Muchas Gracias. I think they have a few that are also owned by Muchas Gracias but are called something else like Alberto's taco shop or some such other name. Decent food, but when I really want some awesome tacos al pastor I go over to the

@PierceTheVin: The street vendors were selling some pozole when I was in LA recently.

@m4bandit: its so true, gonna have to break out the canned air for the drool puddle in my keyboard.

@PierceTheVin: al pastor is like my favorite mexican style meat evar. I have started to drool a little bit. Also this mexican restaurant chain around the northwest has tortas with pastor aka adobada. Mexican food 4 teh win!

@tickif: I hope that it does fb updates like with foursquare so I can update people with the menial tasks I've completed to make their farmville achievements and notifications seem just as stupid.
